What To Expect Bunk Assignments There are three separate living quarters aboard the SSV TOLE MOUR: Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, and Anacapa. Each student will receive a bunk for sleeping and gear storage. The bunks can be assigned in a variety of ways: separate sexes, watch groups, or randomly. Bunk curtains and a head (bathroom) in each living space provide additional privacy for changing. Sleeping on deck is a wonderful option available at the group leader’s discretion. Food and beverages are not allowed below decks. Showers Hot deck showers will be provided for every trip. They occur after snorkels. Swimwear will be worn during showering. There is a limited supply of fresh hot water so we ask all shipmaes to make showers as quick as possible. Quiet Hours Every evening from 9:30 pm to 6:30 am quiet hours are set. There is a 24 hour watch aboard the SSV TOLE MOUR. In order to do this someone is always awake and someone is always asleep, therefore it is imperative that quiet hours are strictly enforced in order to provide for the varying schedules of the Crew. Meals The SSV TOLE MOUR employs a full-time cook who prepares all meals and snacks while you and your students are on board. The food is of high quality, wholesome, and plentiful. Special dietary needs can be accommodated easily given sufficient notice. Please notify the trip leader of these requests (i.e. food allergies) as soon as possible so that they can alert us before our food order is placed. Meal procedures will be outlined for the students before their first meal. Each person will clean individual dishes (i.e. plates, utensils, and cups). The galley dishes will be cleaned during Pride Stations. Students need to be courteous, patient and take only what they can eat. Please refrain from bringing extra food and snacks. Schedule The first day of every trip is dedicated to a full day of sail training aboard the TOLE MOUR. The daily schedule for subsequent days is as follows: 7:00 am - Breakfast/Pride Stations 8:30 am - Morning Program Group Leader’s choice 12:30 pm - Lunch Pride Stations 2:00 pm - Sail Training and Lessons Under Sail (Group Leader’s choice) 6:00 pm - Dinner/Pride Stations 7:30 pm - Night Program (Group Leader’s choice) 9:30 pm - Quiet Hours
